Restaurant Sergi de Meià: unforgettable Catalan gastronomy
One of the most delicious places I have visited in Barcelona is the Restaurant Sergi de Meià , whose kitchen is dedicated to preparing amazing dishes based on modern Catalan cuisine under the guidance of its young chef and owner Sergi de Meià.
In the Restaurant Sergi de Meià you can enjoy what they call "Catalan cuisine of proximity". The term "proximity" refers to the use of fresh and regional ingredients, which are obtained in the vicinity of Barcelona by the hand of a very well-chosen selection of suppliers, many of them handmade.
I to this I would call it "Catalan cuisine of proximity to which you will want to return whenever you can to order all the dishes of the menu because it is not enough to go only once".
Like many restaurants in author, the letter of Sergi de Meià has a large number of dishes that highlight seasonal products prepared with detail and dedication.

If you are going to eat at the Sergi de Meià restaurant, you can ask for the tasting, which includes several dishes from the menu and maybe one that is not in it. If not, you can either order something "a la carte" or get carried away by the recommendations of the waiters.
In my case I asked the letter.
I decided to try the All i pebre of angula del delta and the Crab to the Vietnamese with mushrooms as inputs.
The two main dishes that my companion ordered and I was a Ventresca of tuna with an oyster from the delta of the Ebro ...
... and the pork shank cooked at 8 o'clock accompanied by mushrooms, bacon and potatoes.
A gastronomic experience like this could not be Complete without an unforgettable dessert: the incredible chickpea fritters with cream.
