The exquisite vegetarian restaurant Copenhagen, in Madrid

It is not difficult to get vegetarian and vegan places in Madrid, as there are a few. But if we want a creative restaurant, where we eat dishes that are different from the traditional and where you feel that they are consenting to you, then the list decreases noticeably. Oh, but do not be scared, there are delicious and fun options, and the Copenhagen restaurant is one of them.

This is the 5th vegetarian restaurant of the Copenhagen group, the first in Madrid (all others are in Valencia ) and, if there is a slogan that summarizes what this place is about, it would be something like "vegetarian food for all" or "vegetarian food for non-vegetarians".

And this is where creativity, presentation , quality and taste of each of the dishes makes visiting it not only an option for vegetarians and vegans, the Copenhagen restaurant can come anybody, and they will surely leave satisfied and eager to repeat.

What to eat in Copenhagen restaurant

The menu is varied and has both vegetarian and vegan options.

At meal times you can choose the daily menu or of course, you can order A la carte, leaving you to take the recommendations of the waiters, who always guess right.

There are dishes that you have to ask for yes or yes, like the vegetarian ceviche made with passion fruit (parchita), mango and avocado. A beauty.

Likewise, the croquettes they serve are excellent. I tried the boletus and hazelnuts and the gorgonzola.

Also highlights the incredible rural egg with asparagus and mushrooms.

If you are in a wave of salads you can try the salad with quinoa and of course, the spectacular seaweed salad with vegetable tuna. Yes, yes, vegetable tuna.

Another dish interesting, and very creative are the garlic prawns, its taste really mimics that of prawns.

Of course, there are vegetarian burgers, which mimic the taste of veal and even pork. I tried both, and they were delicious.

A the time of dessert you can go for the classic vegan cheesecake, or you can try the raw chocolate bonbons that are really good.

In general, eating at the Copenhagen restaurant is a very special experience. Those non-vegetarians, like me, are going to take a pleasant surprise with the food so I recommend you go and enjoy.
